The Duldrums. This is where I reside, wont you come in?

Is it just me or do blogs help those who cannot do?

Like me, I have problems, problems that I cant fix. So maybe I can use my misfortune to help you. Do you ever really know yourself? What you like and what you dislike? What you enjoy doing and what you don't enjoy doing? I think you get the idea. For me it seems like the older I get the more I realize how much I don't know about myself. What I want to do, so forth and so forth. It seems like problems have affected interests ,and hobbies maybe. Music mainly. Recently I have been listening to alot of Johnny Cash. Songs like "Give my love to Rose","Hurt", and "Ring of Fire" seem to define where I am at. Not to mention Johnny Cash is just a good musician.

The duldrums. This is where I reside, wont you come in?

In the book the phantom tollbooth, the main character comes across the duldrums. A place of dysfunction, boredom, and utter perplexity. With me sorrow, and a few other stuff is also included. You can escape the duldrums, as to how I have totally forgot.(I read the book two years ago) I feel like that's where I am right now. I glass box. You can see your friends on the outside but you cant get out. You are trapped in a glass box full of smog. The "smog" is made of of the things I previously mentioned. Sorrow, dysfunction, pain, many other quality's. The main one being, Reality. Reality basically slaps you in the face with what you already know. You cant get out, you have to wait. When you are allowed to escape you will never know. Everyday you watch the outside wandering when you will be out there and what the heck you will end up doing. The reality I'm referring to would be God. This reality is the most merciful. Though it doesn't always seem like that. It seems like every opportunity "reality" gets ,it pokes you with a stick. Nagging you and so forth. Not really but you get the picture. The "comforting" thing is "Reality", God. Wont destroy you. Well, you get what I mean. He wants to help you. He wants you to hug him. He wants YOU to tell him that what he is doing IS the best thing for you. He wants that. You need that. Most likely what I'm writing will help you more than it will help me. You will also understand it more than I do. Though that's the way it usually goes....right?
